Autumn Around our Place...come see!
Many of you are posting pictures of the beautiful colors of autumn where you live (except for those of you in Florida :) so I decided before the trees are bare, I wanted to show you my home and the colors around it. I even snapped one or two of my husband building a gazebo.(he did not know)I hope its done for next summer to enjoy! Also, we are blessed to have such a gift near us, ....we have a Parkland Foundation trail right at our back door. We take DAILY walks on this land the foundation maintains for us. Our lab, Maura,reminds us when its time to go. So, I hope I do not bore you with too many pictures .

Don't you just love this time of year? I noticed today how wonderful our colors still are. Snow is coming this week...ugh!
The gazebo looks amazing. I need one of those by our pool. I know it's not going to happen, but the thought is nice :o) It took enough work to build a deck years ago and that's the end of the pool work.
The trail is so neat. I hate to walk and can't walk anymore due to a wacked out foot. I think I could handle a view like you have. It sure beats walking the block.

Oh, I remember the beauty of a colorful autumn.
In fact, I remember when I used to get a box full of fall leaves from a friend. That was something I always looked forward to when my boys were young. And when I was teaching.
Now ... I'll just look at your pictures.
Ohhh, that (almost) makes me want to drive north to see!! We are getting another cold front in a few days.
Your house looks beautiful, and the gazebo is going to be fabulous! I always wanted one!

Wonderful pictures! I love seeing fall in different parts of the country. Thanks for sharing your "gratitude" with me. I'm still having trouble getting my sidebar set. If I could get my son to sit down long enough, I could figure out what I'm doing wrong.
